Clive Meredith Clive was elected as a District Councillor for the Whitfield Ward at the Local Government Elections in May 2003. He is Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group on the Council and serves on the Scrutiny (Policy & Performance) Committee,
He was a teacher for thirty years before taking early retirement. Clive takes a keen interest in history and is a member of the Historical Association.

Patrick Acarnley Patrick has been part of Dover & Deal Liberal Democrats for a number of years and was Chairman until 2007, where he was succeeded by John Mackie. Patrick is now Treasurer for the branch

Patrick, whose enthusiasm is almost inexhausible, lives and runs his own printing business in Deal.
