Worldwide hero Nelson Mandela stood up to Apartheid and violent racism. But a Dover Conservative Councillor recently re-published an article on a local website which said, "what was Nelson Mandela complaining about?" and suggested Nelson Mandela's suffering was excusable!
Incredibly, the local Conservative Party have supported him by refusing to expel him from their organisation. Chairman of Deal Liberal Democrats, Antony Hook said: "If local Conservatives don't understand what is wrong with the fascist Apartheid system, they must have no sense of moral values at all."
"Apartheid broke up families, killed and tortured innocent people. It separated people based on their skin colour."
"We need change and we need to vote out the Conservatives in our area," Antony said.
