Lib Dems Challenge Labour for Mill Hill

 

Deal Liberal Democrats are challenging Labour for the Mill Hill seats on Deal town council.

 

 

Two Labour councillors have resigned following a scathing auditor's report revealing serious misbehaviour with members of the Labour group using taxpayers' money to employ relatives. The Liberal Democrats are fielding two local candidates, Patrick Acarnley and John Trickey.  Both are long-term Deal residents, well known local businessmen and active campaigners. The by-election in Mill Hill is expected on 4 June, the same day as that for county council and European elections.
